Spring has been slowly creeping in. For a few days, there has been a light gauze of green, and I think one of my sunflowers is just peeking out of the ground. I also found the need to get out my annual spider spray to keep the large predators that inhabit my exterior walls at bay BEFORE they have a chance to move in and call my siding "home."
And this morning I woke up, looked out the window and it's like the tree in the yard BURST into leaf literally overnight! It's beautiful to see spring finally coming into being.
AND ANOTHER THING!
I went to visit Cathy this morning to see if she has any new rants, and what do I find out, but that "40 is the new 30!" And that means....it's her BIRTHDAY!
So go on over and wish Cathy the Recovering Dissident a good one!
I'd send her lilacs (it's one of my favorite flowers, don't know if it's hers) but the bush isn't in bloom yet. So I'm sending her all of YOU instead!

WOW!!!! Nice new header.
Thanks for incorporating that mural of me in your new header. It means a lot, dear friend!
LOL!
Seriously, beautiful header.
Thanks for the well wishes.
I LOVE lilacs. I have several bushes in my yard. You are right they are not in bloom, yet, but soon.
Send me some breadcrust. I'm feeling meditative.
Anything for you, Cathy! LOL!
And I DO remember now that you love lilacs...you pointed out the bushes when I was at your house.
Hmmm...well, I happen to have some breadcrust, but it's not very crusty as I bought it yesterday. May turn it into garlic bread tonight.
I have to go walk your buddy now.
Tell my buddy I said hello!
She sends shedding undercoat and dog drool in response. And a yowl.
