I have a love-hate relationship with summer. On one hand, it's beautiful as the world is so full of life and we are free to walk along the sidewalks without fear of falling on the ice.
On the other hand...
There is the heat and humidity, and once again, today, the humidity begins to creep up.
And speaking of creeping...the summer bugs are always apalling (although I'm grateful the June bugs have gone their way).
And speaking of bugs....even they are so desperate to get out of the sun that they have the audacity to fly into one's nose and make themselves at home, such that the unwitting victim of their insinuation must find it necessary to posture madly in all sorts of ways in order to evict the new and unwelcome resident, who apparently finds it necessary to tap-dance its way around the sensitive nasal passage.
Just sayin'

LOL!!!
Boy can I relate! By the Lake, we have what we term, 'Canadian Soldiers'. They are such nuicances! And it is not just one or two...it's hourdes!!!! And yes...fly right up the nose! *shudder* LOL
Our weather people say that they only come twice a year. However, my experience living and working by the lake has been different. I have seen them 3-4 times a year for the last couple years.
I love the summer... despite the bugs! I could do without the whole ice, salt, slippery roads mess that makes up the winter!
We've been lucky, humidity-wise, this year, Adoro. I've only had to turn my air conditioner on a couple of times. Of course I keep a 15" fan about 15" from me when I am in bed.
I hate humidity & bugs! But living in england we don't have much of either..
It's a good time to buy a new toilet seat. I'm just sayin'....
