Meme Without a Name

I found this over at Orthometer, and since I love Jesus, Fr. Richtsteig said I was tagged.

1. Do you wear a name tag at work? Sometimes, only if I have to go through the school or speak at an event, faith formation nights, etc. It otherwise gets in the way.
2. What kind of car do you drive? Saturn Ion 2 (very cool..it has a digital temperature gauge on the rearview mirror, it has traction control, anti-lock brakes. I like my car. Wish someone hadn't crashed into it.)
3. What do you order when you go to Taco Bell? Um...tacos? Ok, I like the steak and lime taco, but I haven't been there for so long I don't even know if they have it anymore.
4. Have you ever had a garage sale? When I was a kid my Mom had one...does that count?
5. What color is your iPod? I don't have one. (Yes, you heard me. I'm a charity case...will you donate one?) LOL!

7. What's for dinner tonight? Thai Peanut Chicken
8. What is the last alcoholic beverage you had? Chardonnay, and not a very good one.
9. Stupidest thing you ever did with your cell phone? I don't have a cell phone. When I HAD a cell phone, I used it to call my boyfriend. Now my ex. What a waste of time. But at least he paid for the cell phone and the bill.
10. Last time you were sick? After Thanksgiving.
11. How long is your hair? Below my shoulders
12. Are you happy right now? Define "happiness". That's theological term, you know.
13. What did you say last? "Good girl!" (talking to my dog)
14. Who came over last? A neighbor returning something.
15. Do you drink beer? Yes, it's yummy.
16. Have your brothers or sisters ever told you that you were adopted? Yup. My brother did, and he also told me that I was a "mistake". Mom corrected BOTH of us in VERY SHORT ORDER after I went to her in tears. And she was VERY ANGRY when she learned that I'd been pondering what my brother had told me for WEEKS before I said anything.
17. What is your favorite key chain on your keys? A very small image of Our Mother of Perpetual Help.
18. What did you get for graduation? I don't remember. It's been too long.
19. Whats in your pocket? lint and probably dog hair. Dog hair everywhere.
20. Who introduced you to Dane Cook? Who?
21. Has someone ever made you a Build-A-Bear? A WHAT!?
22. What DVD is in your DVD player? Chronicles of Narnia
23. What's something fun you did today? Drove the bright red Jetta they gave me as a rental vehicle while my car's being repaired.
24. Who is/was the principal of your high school? I don't remember his name. He was nice, though, and suggested I get a minor emancipation in light of my family situation. That was my only contact with him my entire 3 years of high school. Other than when I needed him for a reference for a college app.
25. Has your house ever been TP'd? Nope. But I've TP's other people's houses!
26.What do you think of when you hear the word "meow"? Sarcasm if it's spoken. A fuzzy creatures with small pointy ears and a tail if the "word" is actuall the sound emitted by the creature we call a "cat".
27. What are you listening to right now? King of the Hill on TV.
28. Drinking? Thinking about having a glass of white wine. Or water. Or nothing.

30. When is your mom's birthday? October 30
31. When is your birthday? June 20
32. What's the area code for your cell phone? Just yell really loud, call me at work or call me at home. If you get my voice mail, leave a message and I'll get back to you. If you're resorting to yelling...well, I hope YOU have a cell phone because you must be in big trouble! So send Lassie to come get me.

39. What is your favorite fruit? Raspberries
40. What about your favorite dessert? It varies, but I rarely eat dessert no matter what it is. At home...ice cream, maybe. At a restaurant...whatever is gooey, chocolatey, unless it's a pecan pie even without chocolate...then I want that.
41. What is something you need to go shopping for? The list is long...the money in my account...non existant. I used a credit card today to pay for things I needed because I can't delay anymore. Something about winter and holes in the shoes, worn tread, and leaky boots is just not compatible.

Sorry someone hit your car--I like the digital tempature guage on the rear view mirror also, and since I am very bad with directions--mine also has a digital compass--so at night I can tell where I'm going.

You did a good job on this meme, and you spelled Father's name correctly--with two T's--wow.

So glad you LOVE Jesus!

Tara ~ Oh, yeah...mine has the digital compass, too! I should edit that in, but I'm too lazy.

I didn't really spell his name right...I just copied/pasted his name with his own spelling so that I would avoid my embarassing ability to misspell his name every single time. LOL!

Seriously...I'm usually very good with names and spelling, so it's quite awful when I can't seem to get his name right. :-(

Glad you love Jesus, too! :-)

Re #16: I wonder why thinking one was adopted is such a common childhood theme? I was the oldest, so my brothers and sisters couldn't tell me I was adopted. but I did fantasize that I was a princess in exile (think Anastasia), and one day I would resume my rightful place (which would involve getting my way all the time!). My brother did tell our much younger sister that we found her wandering around by a filling station on a trip to New Mexico. We felt sorry for her so we picked her up. She believed him, because she couldn't remember much before the trip. Of course Mom set the record straight; didn't even have to guess where that idea had come from.

Question 25: Has your house ever been TP'd?

What is TP'd?

Anonymous said...

Toilet Papered. It can be considered to be vandalism, but around here, typically it's a "tradition" carried out in relation to certain school events. Such as "Senior Night Out", or the football players before the Homecoming game. :-)

Often, you can gauge the popularity of a given player based on how severely his house was TP'd before the game. LOL!

I took the tag because I do have both and IPod and a cell phone and I had to wait for a phone call so I had to stay close to the desk.
