Hunting Season in Minnesota

I haven't gone deer hunting in several years, but I thought it would be fun to show you the only deer I ever had the opportunity to shoot. I'm proud to say I was quite successful in that endeavor:

Unfortunately that one had to stay in its natural habitat. Not fit for human consumption. What a pity. Under all that blaze orange, that one had nice flanks. And just LOOK at that rack!

Disclaimer: Unfortunately, no deer were harmed in the production of this photograph. If a deer had actually been harmed, it would be displayed, hanging, with its innards removed and me standing next to it drenched in gore, grinning widely. That would have been followed by a photograph of me grilling the recently deceased in my special steak marinade.

But instead of that nice feast, all you get is this lousy picture.
