Father ~ Uh, I'm making a fashion statement. I just don't know what kind. And I'm not sure it will work with those who don't like the pill-box look...reminds too much of arsenic and old lace methinks... ;-)

I grabbed a real mantilla from a pic using the lasso tool, pasted it, used Multiply blending mode which erased the white background, and extended the length a bit. =)

Vincenzo ~ I wish what you were saying made sense to me, but I have to say this...what you created looks a LOT like the mantilla I wear at Mass, whether you extended it or not!
Dunno where you live, but if you were local to me I'd ask for photoshop lessons! You DO have a gift!
Adoro, thanks. I'm still relatively new to Photoshop (spent years using other applications - i.e. Paint Shop Pro) and have been trying to figure it out via trial and error.
Vincenzo, haven't I seen your pictures often on WDTPRS too? Maybe you should start a blog just for your photoshop work, with links to the posts that inspired them for context... Heck, I'd read it. :)
