Spittin' Image!

Parish the Thought: Bishop Elect Jim Wall of Gallup, N.M.

Fr.  Pelletier announces to us that his personal friend has just been made Bishop of Gallup, N.M., and is very excited by the news, as well he should be!

In the meantime, back in Ohio,  a personal friend of mine, who is an identical twin, has just discovered they and the new Bishop share a very uncanny resemblance!

Father Larry Blake, pastor of St. Jooseph's parish in Waconia, who, interestingly, was a Lutheran minister, and, . . . is married and has a family with him in Waconia. Probably the only married priest in the archdiocese.

Anyhow, Father Larry doesn't quite look like the new bishop of Gallup and your priest friend in Ohio too much, except for maybe the hair bit.

Or lack thereof.

Maybe there should be a subcaucus of chromedome priests in the American Church.
