Blogging Quotes of the Day

Man is least himself when he comments in his own name. Give him a blog and a pseudonym, and he will tell you the truth.
~ inspired by Oscar Wilde (1854 - 1900)
***

Blogging is turning one's worst moments into utter hilarity without a microphone and MC to cue the crowd.

~ loosely inspired by J.P. Donleavy - the rest is my observation.

I blog to discover what I  know.
~ Flannery O'Connor

There is no excuse for anyone to write a blog for public consumption unless he has been called to do so by the presence of a gift. It is the nature of blogging not to be good for much unless it is good in itself.

I should'a used a fake name but it never occured to me. I swore to myself that I would be an honest person on the net but darned if I didn't practically include my personal location. Oops!

I reign myself in and say- too much information.

Belinda ~ Maybe you, in all your sarcasm, are the only person in all of humanity who is truly honest. Congratulations!

(Why do I get the feeling you are just a little bit defensive just for the pure drama of being so?)

LOL!

I LOVE a great juxtaposition!

Let's keep this goin' folks....

That last one has quite a bit of truth to it! Nice work.

Belinda ~ Wait...what? Obviously what I was trying to say didn't come across in the way I intended. Sorry. :-(

I love your humor and your take on things, was trying to make a play sorta, on a commentary on that. I'll delete my comment if that'll help. I can't edit it since I can't remember where my own mind was going in that moment, but I would never intend to insult you! :-(

Adoro, I didn't know what you were saying but don't worry about it. Even if you didn't like me I would still keep reading your blog - Just ask Mr.Nelson over at the Abbey (hahahahaha) as I'm a continual pest.

I believe most christian bloggers mean well and I'm not taking any thing personal besides I often love people who don't love me back. Everything is okay. If you knew me in person we would be best buds.

*I was at an American Indian Pow Wow two weeks ago and the Indians were greatly annoyed by me especially when I kept going on and on about how I thought this and that was cool and an indian woman finally gave me that "Hey, lady- beat it" look. I laughed and left.

And yes, I'm into high drama and so is my son and father, ironically not so much my daughters. I hope my scarcasim doesn't bring others pain. I don't want to use my powers for evil - only good. ;)

God bless you and help you with your new vocation direction. My daughter wants to be a nun so I would appreciate lots of details.

Belinda ~ Oh, I do love you, and believe if we knew each other in real life, we would indeed be "best buds"!

I'm quite chagrined at the very idea of having offended you in any way and am glad you have thick skin as, well, I'm quite fond of the taste of my feet!

I love drama, as long as it is set as such (which most blogs are). I hate drama that is real life and actually....melodrama belonging to dysfunction. Much like what I got to experience today as my neighbors screamed at their teenage daughter through upper floor windows, she screamed back, top of their lungs on both part, neither anywhere near intelligible, confused Dad standing by his beloved truck screaming at both of them to knock it off.

Yeah...I'll take blog-drama any day. At least there's no sound, and we can write apologies or explanations to each other!

Thanks for understanding I didn't mean an offense. :-( God bless you for that. Too many others have condemned and actively harassed instead of just clearing the air.

Do call me out when I offend, on the spot. I'd rather correct it than let something go.

Please dont feel bad, because then I would feel bad.

Today when I was at the grocery store I heard this woman yelling at her five kids in the parking lot and when she got out of her car she gave me a dirty look as I wondered what the children could have done to get screamed at and when I drove by I noticed a "K-Love" bumper sticker on her car which meant she was a christian and listened to christian music- I couldn't stop laughing!!

*******
I don't mind drama -to a point but I destest "head games" I refuse to play them and I wont teach them to my children.

Belinda ~ Ah, yes, we'd get along very well indeed!
