Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity

Sunday was Vocations day, and sadly, I didn't happen to hear this discusssed at Mass this weekend, although my parish is one that might have considered such a message to be "preaching to the choir." We supply many souls to the seminaries and the religious communities everywhere...but we still need the message.

One community to check out, whether because you're considering religious life, or if you just like music, is the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity. They've got some new music available for download through the month of May.

What? You have so many priests you don't need to pray for more? What about we who need them? Could you send a few hundred to my diocese? ;>)

(Okay - maybe I was being a bit reactional. We only need a couple hundred.)

God's blessing on your day Adoro!

Fr. V!

We need lots and lots of priests here! But if we had an excess, I'm certain some would be happy to come your way.

And we pray for priests all the time...you're actually one of them! :-)

God bless, Father!

adora te devote, your attention to supporting all the vocations in the church through prayer and ACTION is one that we share with you!

Please know that all the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity remember your own particular needs as you seek to follow God's will. We are grateful to you for encouraging others to ACT and find inspiration on our Franciscanized World page.
