Why doesn't anyone care that this Man is hanging for our sins? They just go about their daily lives oblivious.

You know where they are. You've been there. You can reach them thru that indifference. I know you can.

I tell myself if I can reach even one soul with my incomprehensible and unworthy babblings I am content. Any soul reached is not from me anyway, it's the Holy Spirit working thru me.

You've reached many thru your online apostolate. So, it's tougher in person? Yeah. I prove everyday how I'm more effective with anonymity.

Don't give up!

Prayers sister.Cathy_of_Alexhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16795566831031491371noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15170815.post-82308513401277825652010-10-08T14:46:48.041-05:002010-10-08T14:46:48.041-05:00That was a very good reminder. I help out at RCIA, but the catechisis is so non-existent that I am tortured by watching their hungry souls go so neglected. It is the most difficult thing I do with my life.

Hang in there. If we both make it to heaven, I've got a feeling that your mansion is going to be a lot nicer than mine.ckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16347299406398966275noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15170815.post-76216514581362495942010-10-06T13:17:33.349-05:002010-10-06T13:17:33.349-05:00I attended the women's group meeting at my chu...I attended the women's group meeting at my church a couple of weeks ago and I was shocked by a mother there talking about her children. She only signs them up for Sunday School during sacrament years and only for Confirmation class if they want to join, which is reasonable I suppose, but she does not seem to have given them a reason to want to join. She thought it was 'stupid' for a 7 year old to go to confession because they could not have possibly done anything to confess. She, of course, has never been to confession either. She was relating a 'conversation' (argument?) she had with the Sunday School director who was urging her to sign up her children during non-sacrament years. She refused because she did not want to force her religion on her children.

I found the whole exchange astonishing and quite sad. I cannot imagine the parish workers who run into this attitude all the time. It must be so heartrending.Jennynoreply@blogger.com
