But I'm not referring to the promise, which I fully believe and recognize, and Adore.

Maybe I'm the only person in the world to ponder the mystery of Jesus in His bodily human form existing somewhere, not just in the True Presence, but physically just as He was on the day of His Resurrection and in His appearances to the Apostles.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15170815.post-48411689563877724452008-06-10T16:37:00.000-05:002008-06-10T16:37:00.000-05:00Jesus exists fully present in his bodily form in t...Jesus exists fully present in his bodily form in the Eucharist: body blood soul and divinity. This is the Christ we can see, and experience on a sensate level.

to me that is how I have been able to get my mind around His promise "I will be with you to the end of the age." Even the Saints (St. Faustina, St. Therese) went through this...and yes, we are called to be saints.

I think this happens when we are growing into a new level with God. He prepares us (body & soul) to be able to grasp, even in the tiniest tidbit, that next level of Himself that He wants to reveal. There are times, however, that I just want God to go ahead & get it over with...'make me grow now'. Patience may be a virtue, it's just not one that I come by easily.
*grin*

And yes, you touch so many people with your blog - seen & unseen.
LMAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15170815.post-29629298716851989252008-06-09T08:10:00.000-05:002008-06-09T08:10:00.000-05:00anon (LMAnd I have no problem with the Trinity...I...anon (LM< is that you?) ~ Yes, I know I'm holy in that sense..I'm talking about the holiness we strive toward, growing in holiness. Just sitting and hoping for the best without making any effort to grow...who can be content with that?

And I have no problem with the Trinity...I actually tried to explain this to a friend the other day and it took her a minute to figure out what I meant, too. I'm talking about Jesus Christ being fully present in his risen BODY. Yes, He is part of the Trinity, but He also remains fully human. Therefore, Jesus exists somewhere not just in spiritual form, but in bodily form, completely substantial. And that's what I can't get my mind around.

IR ~ Thank you.

SMK ~ You're still around!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15170815.post-79848783942950738342008-06-09T07:21:00.000-05:002008-06-09T07:21:00.000-05:00Do you know (and I guess you do) that the word con...Do you know (and I guess you do) that the word consecrated means "set aside?" So as Christians, we are all set aside at Baptism ... and some are called to a deeper setting aside in vows of consecration (third order counts!). It is our duty as friends & family, to make each other grow in that Holiness so that we can get to Heaven and be with Our Lord & Savior forever. It is also our duty as individuals, to keep practicing. God understands that we try, we fail, we pick ourselves up and try again. As long as we keep trying and growing in Him, we continue to live. It is when we stop that we die.

I don't really think you realize how many lives you touch with this blog. God inspires you - it is seen in every single blog here!

You may not be able to see the Holy Trinity - but you can definitely feel it. It's like the wind - you can't see it, but you can feel it's presence. It's the same with the Most Holy Trinity. Just take a moment to close your eyes & 'be' with God (Adoration is one of the best times I can do this) - let His presence fill you.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
