I can't imagine losing my mother, my heart...Kiwi,

I can't imagine losing my mother, my heart just goes out to you! How much your grief must have been amplified!

I know what you mean about the continued "abandonment". I can't say I really feel that anymore, but every so often that sharp edge of grief cuts right through me, and I remember it like it was fresh.

I have a book that discusses different feelings/moods/things we all go through, and the prayers ask God to enter into whatever that situation is, asking him to heal it, change it, etc, whatever's appropriate for the issue.

Just keep offering this suffering, and trust with all your heart.

I know it sounds trite..., but know, I have to apply the same thing to myself.

God bless you!Adorohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02853244433854822731noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15170815.post-35132555643378826062007-01-30T18:12:00.000-06:002007-01-30T18:12:00.000-06:00Kiwi,

After my mother died, leaving us orphans, I screamed out to God for help in my loneliness. But it seemed like there was no answer there.
I had a wall built up against my grief, but eventually I came to a time when I knew I needed some counselling that turned out to be grief counselling. I have said 'goodbye' and taken down the wall. But as far as God goes, I think I still feel that abandonment. And I am not sure how it will ever be healed. It is certainly not something I feel I can tackle msyelf.Kiwi Nomadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13351034705766073667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15170815.post-60480727969728313162007-01-24T19:31:00.000-06:002007-01-24T19:31:00.000-06:00Beautiful post describing grief so well.
